I asked for a chance to show my Roxy in the ring, so three weeks later Mom, Dad, me and Roxy were driving in the snow to the Lehigh Valley Kennel Club Show in Bethlehem, PA. Our first time in the ring, Cousin Sandy didn’t make it because it snowed again. We went home with the 1st Place Ribbon anyway. Next I entered shows in January and February and won more ribbons. In March I won two 1st Place Ribbons and got moved from Novice class to the Open classes. Then, at The Non-Sporting Group Club of the Garden State Roxy and I took 1st Place and got Best Junior Handler. Our third win was in April at the New Brunswick Kennel Club show. I showed Roxy in the Open Junior class and they gave us another 1st Place and Best Junior Handler at the Wilmington Kennel Club Show. If I got five first places I would be invited to the Eukanuba Nationals, so I was really beginning to try hard. I earned another 1st Place in May, then two more in June, and the fourth at Tioga County Kennel Club. The fifth win came at the September show of Lehigh Valley Kennel Club, the same club where I started. My mom helped me get all the paper work into the AKC for an invitation to Eukanuba. So, the invitation arrived, we bought the airline tickets, and Roxy and I are going to California. But first it was time again for the Philadelphia Kennel Club Show. This year I was not a spectator. I won a 1st Place Ribbon on November 22, 2008 at the Greater Reading Expo Center..
.One year ago my Aunt Jean called and asked my mom if we wanted to attend the Philadelphia Dog Show. We went there to watch her cousin in the ring. It snowed that day in the Poconos so Cousin Sandy never made it.
